Arte De Vivir

I wrote these articles about experimental film and video, sporadically between 2007-2009, for the now defunct arts magazine, Arte de Vivir, edited by my friend and collaborator, writer, actor and activist, the late Max Mejia. Max shared long walks and slow cups of coffee in his beloved Tijuana. With humor he challenged my gullibility; taught me about love, life, art and good writing. Max believed in me and would have continued to encourage me to keep writing had life been at times less punishing. (Tijuana, 2007-2009)
