Diaria, part of Diarias Global, Communities of Care, a project by the Mexican interdisciplinary artist Lorene Wolffer. The project addresses issues of hate crimes against women-identified people worldwide.

The video is a subtle rendition of personal growth, and in these times, I believe, this is a political stand. The date is a reference to the time we are living, the theme of the diary entries with dated mark stamps, and is a commentary ongoing through this pandemic without a lover, but taking the time to find oneself. The forests in this region have been sources for literary inspiration for poets so I am also taking the opportunity for myself to do that before the job market or whatever takes me someplace else. The poem is made from a diary entry on May 23rd. The video is from June 8th, shot on my phone during one of my walks around town.
